Rust metal wallart

The red oak leaf pattern was my first project. I’ve made it for myself as a decorative staircase lighting. In the autumn I collected leaves on a walk, and then for several months I was learning the whole process from idea to the finished artwork.

I chose the red oak leaf because it has a very characteristic shape and beautifully discolouration in autumn, which is why I found it the most beautiful on that walk.

Cor-ten fits perfectly with autumn vibes, its red-brown shades bring a pleasant feeling of warmth to the interior. This artwork will look nice on a dark wall, but we can also hang it on a light background adding the backlight (photos of this option are in the oldest photos in the gallery).
