We like to look at patterns painted by nature. It gives us pleasure, relaxes and calms us down. This time I looked at the chrysanthemum. Lots of tiny petals inside, the farther from the center the petals get bigger and scattered. But each of them is similarly bent and arranged radially, which makes us see order in the apparent chaos.

I laser cut chrysanthemum petals in a brass plate and bent each of them by hand. The artwork looks different from each side. Additionally, brass with changing lighting gives a different impression. You can also say that the artwork is alive.
