Apparently, if someone goes to Africa once, they will always come back there. It was the same with me. I love local wildlife (unfortunately mainly in the reserves), huge moon, evening sounds of savanna, red soil. I admire African art for simplicity and naturalness.
Zebras seems to me the perfect subject for cutting out in metal, where I have only two colours available: cut out and not cut out. Oxidised steel fits me well with African style: raw with uneven colours.
The background behind the image should be bright, preferably white. I can install backlight in the artwork.
